College Sports Commission Reports $355 Million in NIL Deals Cleared Since Launch

The College Sports Commission has processed over 16,000 NIL deals since January, with $355 million in agreements cleared through the NIL Go platform.
A New Era of Oversight
The landscape of college athletics continues to evolve under the new revenue-sharing model established by the House v. NCAA settlement. According to recent data from the College Sports Commission (CSC), the NIL Go platform—the central clearinghouse for third-party NIL deals—has successfully cleared $355 million in agreements since its inception.
By the Numbers
Since January 1, 2026, the system has processed 16,874 approved deals. However, the platform has also been active in enforcement, denying 1,288 deals with a total value of $74.91 million. The CSC reports that it handles an average of 90 NIL deal submissions per day. Efficiency remains a priority, with 41% of submissions reaching a resolution within 24 hours and 63% resolved within a week, provided all necessary information is submitted by the athlete, sponsor, or school.
Legal and Operational Challenges
The CSC recently secured a legal victory when a magistrate judge denied a challenge to the House settlement regarding rules for associated entities. This ensures that deals involving multi-media rights remain subject to the NIL Go review process. While the system is functioning, the high volume of 'manufactured' or complex deals has created operational strain. The CSC continues to work through appeals and maintains that the platform is essential for ensuring compliance in an era where schools can now directly share up to $21.3 million in revenue with athletes, separate from these third-party NIL agreements.
